...sounds boring but it was far from being so! Today I had to cover 50k and since my Horoscope pointed out that I should not do all by myself but seek for company, I announced the run to Namban runners. Well, I don't believe in Horoscopes but the announcement was received well. A total of more that 10 Nambans ran today around the palace and I can ensure you that time flew by ;-) Still, 50k is a distance and I never covered so many Kilometers before. But again, chatting and running with so many friends made the run a lot easier! Besides, I believe that Imperial Palace is a great place to run: I could see Mara Yamauchi and the Second Wind AC Team training. I used my Camel Back and drank all the water (1,5l) till the 40k mark. Had to stop for water at 45k then. Temperatures were in the 26 C range and it was still humid even though the Taifun was gone. But the next rain front came from the north. We could enjoy some rain during the last 10k or so. I am happy with the time, 4h16 converts to 5:08 pace which is a pretty decent result, I guess.
Well, next week I will try 60k around the palace. Lets hope that there will be some Nambans again ;-)

Legs are OK, no problems. But I was really dehydrated yesterday. Still suffering from that weather conditions.
