Yesterday, the 3rd Japanese Beer Mile took place in Yoyogi park. It was the first semi-official NAMBAN beer mile as well, since Bob witnessed the race wearing his NAMBAN shirt.
Will post the details soon, so much for now: Steve won in spectacular 7:38, Chad, the defending champion suffered in the last round. I could beat Satohi by a few seconds. Was a tough race for me and I am happy with my time of 8:14. This is a 2 minutes improvement over the last Beer Mile. Satohi finished in 8:20, a new PB for her and the 21st fastest time in the world! We went to dinner after the race and had a great farewell party for us.
