Karlsfeld HM in 1:22:32

Finished Karlsfeld HM today. 11. Overall, 2nd Age group, just a few secs faster than the 3rd and 4th. 7C, no wind, flat course. Very happy with the result, exactly as I hoped for. Stayed with one guy (M45!) till 9k mark, then, ran on my own (20sec to the next runner) for 10k. Vladimir from our club got me at the 19k mark and we could catch the guy (M45!) in front of me :-)
Without Vladimir I could have finished 4th instead! The training seems to work since I was 1 min faster than in March. Let's see if I will ever stay sub 1:20 again ;-)
