Almost back to "normal"

After a week of back pain, a cold and some weird allergic reaction to the pain killers it looks like I am on my way to normal training again. Did 21km this morning with Chin Chin. Picked up the pace during the second half of the run and we finished within 2 hrs. total.
Weird things happened during the run, though. My Fenix broke down around 6k, not sure why. Battery low? Then, a few minutes later, Chin Chin watch ran out of battery. So we had to run by feel. What a change :-). Did manage the pace quite well. "What pace do you think this is?" "I think 5:40 pace." "Uhmm, ok. Maybe we speed up a little." " And now?..." "...". Actually, wasn't that bad at all running w/o a watch. Should do it more often like in the good old days. Tomorrow we plan on doing 30k slowly. Next weekend is Taiping Marathon. Will do it w/o any taper. So, hopefully, I will get some mileage in next week. Onwards...!
