My first trail race

This morning I participated in the Kiara Conquer the Trails run. It's a hilly 15k+ trail run in KL covering 1000HM+. My plan was to test my hydration vest and my new trail shoes, the King MT. Both worked very well. I could manage the uphill parts well, keeping the HR below 160bpm. The downhills were very technical and I was really slow there since I didn't want to trip. All went well and I finished in 2:45 behind the 2. overall woman. Will post some pics later. Stay tuned :-)
