"Wann wird's mal wieder richtig Sommer,...

...ein Sommer wie er früher einmal war?" (when will there be a summer like in the good old times?)
This is a well known song in Germany, performed by many artists, here by "Die Ärzte".
Well, can't complain about the Japanese summer, really ;-)
Aircon is working at home most of the evening and every workout is a little nightmare for me. Still loosing lots of of water during a moderate run. Tuesday no running. Yesterday, I ran to work and in the evening went to the track. Saw a lot of Nambans and got up to speed on their last races. That was great. The workout itself was a total disaster, no speed at all! Planned: 3x(1200m/800m) with 3min jog/rest in between. Accomplished: 1200m/800m/1200m... After that I was done. I felt grilled/cooked/sauted. Masako told me during the 800m: "Your jogging, not running!" Well, it felt like running all out, I swear!
But I guess I should move on with the subject I am reporting on my Blog. Will not bring up the summer heat again. Just have to live with it and take it easy the next weeks.
On a totally different subject:
Did you know, that USA is in Japan? Well, there is a small town, called Usa, on Kochi island.
Have been close to it recently. They produce a lot of stuff, clothing, etc. all "Made in USA". Funny, don't you think?
