A tough one...

Today, my plan called for 18 km in 4:01-4:16. Well, to be precise, I should have done this yesterday, but time wise, yesterday was not possible. My idea was to start out @ 4:05 min/km and see where this would go. Maria offered to join in for her 4x2k run @ 4min pace. This was a great idea! The first 8k went by and I could maintain the pace. Maria joined me and the pace changed to 3:45-3:55 min/km. This was a change of speed! For the next 10k I had to work very hard to stay with Maria. Finally the 18 km were done in 1:12:20. Result: 4:01 min/km. Very happy and thanks again, Maria, for joining in!
