in the middle of the week

Spring is coming and Cherry Blossom is everywhere. It's getting warm quickly and temperatures are already reaching 20 C. It's amazing how fast the weather changes in Tokyo. Last week, it was freezing cold and two days later I got exhausted by dehydration! Yesterday, I did another middle long run, 25k in 2:16. Wish I could hold that pace throughout the 112k on April 26! The real highlight was Sase-san. He just finished his 100k race on Sunday. He is well in his 60s and completed the race in 12:30. Congratulations, again, Sase-san. He told me about some medicine which helps to keep the stomach acid down. There is always a big problem eating/keeping food in an Ultra. Some medicine is supposed to help the stomach dealing with the food.

Aaahhh... cherry blossoms everywhere! I wonder how they look...

By the way: Is there still a 65 kilometer long possibility of watching cherry blossoms waiting for you before the race?

Respect, respect! And keep up the good training.

I guess, that most of the Cherry Blossoms will be gone by Sunday. So would be the tourists around Imperial Palace, I hope... ;-)
