Decisions, decisions, decisions...
... such as: what time I should target for Tokyo Marathon? I know, I should run as fast as possible, but how fast would that be? Should my main race be Fuji 5 lake Ultra or Tokyo Marathon? Well, I am really interested in the Fuji Ultra. I ran Lake Kawaguchiko Marathon and finished in 2:59:83 ;-) It's a great course and I am wondering how the other four lakes compare to this one. Also, the scenery is great, I suppose. On the other hand, I got a spot at Tokyo M which is something special. So, I have to give a strong performance there, right? But, I am afraid, if I run all out on March 22, I might not be fully recovered on April 26. Be glad for any comment, guys.

Well for what it is worth I would say forget about running a good time in the Tokyo marathon and concentrate on the Ultra.
Find someone who has done some training with you and run it with them and help them achieve a 3-10 or a 3.15 or something like that.
Thanks for the advice, Jon. This is what I am leaning towards.
Yes, I suppose if you want to run Fuji 5 well, you have to take it easy at Tokyo. I would suggest running 3:15 or slower, certainly not faster. It has to be a training run, not a race that will require a week recovery. Figure out your maximum training pace and run that...and enjoy the scenery and crowds.
