Finished
Altmühlsee Half a few minutes ago. 7th overall, 2nd in my age group. Temperatures cooler than feared but warmer than hoped for. Good course, mostly gravel roads. Great support teams along the course. First 5k in 19:45, 10k in 39:55, 15k in 1:00:15. Slowed down the last 6k to 4:12 pace and had to fight my way to the finish line. The third in my age group was just 11 sec behind me. Could feel him catching up on me on the last km. Here are the results of our running club in detail:

Good result. What was the temperature? Not as bad as here, I'm sure - it was 34° today.
Temperature was around 24C, 14C would have been better for me :-). The result was what I expected. Have another Half end of September. Hope to shave off a few minutes by then.
