On the track again...

Yesterday, the training called for 12x500m in 1:50 w 300m jog. Petra had a brilliant idea: " Why don't we run more, faster repeats w less brake in-between?" Hmmm, sounds like a good idea...! So, three of us did 15x500m in 1:48min w 200m jog. Was really tough and brutal since I felt bad from the very first one on. But, the group worked together very well and we could manage all of them sub 1:48... :-)

Wow, that's a long, hard workout. 7,500m at a fast pace. You know I never have Namban do more than 6,000m. You need to mention what the rest intervals were, though.

If you want to do short, fast workouts, I read another blogger who did 600/500/400 x 4. The rests were one minute and two minutes between sets, but he is a very good runner.

Hi Jon & Tamami, good hearing from you! Yes, weather in Germany is very favorable for running. Try to get back in shape for a major one next year :-) Enjoy your time in Melbourne!
